How do I know which menu is best for my function?

Are wait-staff for food service included in your prices?

Yes! We believe in keeping our pricing as simple as possible and so our per person prices include a fully qualified chef (and kitchen team for larger events), all food as selected, and wait-staff* for the service of your food.

Included complimentary in our prices is our range of crockery, cutlery, linen-look napkins and DL sized menus printed on white linen card.

What if we would like a particular colour or style of crockery and cutlery?

You are more than welcome to provide or hire crockery and/or cutlery to suit the styling for your event, however this doesn’t change our per person pricing.

We can recommend leading hire companies, stylists or event planners to put the finishing touches on your event as well!

What if some of my guests have special dietary requirements?

With 1 in 5 Australians currently living with a food intolerance or allergy, the possibility of having to cater for one or more special dietary requirements at your event is almost a certainty. We recommend choosing the menu that best suits you, and letting us cater for those guests with dietary requirements individually.

There are some limitations however. There is a wide variety of voluntary diets that have risen to fame in recent times. These aren’t always due to a food intolerance or allergy, but can restrict a similar if not greater range of foods. Given the huge array of diets available, we are unable to accommodate voluntary dietary choices such as (but not limited to) ketogenic, low FODMAP, or paleo. Of course, there are many dietary requirements that we are able to cater for and we have listed those below:

Food allergies: dairy free, fish and shellfish allergies, nut free and gluten free

Special dietary requirements: vegetarian, vegans and pregnancy

Religious reasons: halal

We take these requests very seriously, taking great care to cater for these guests individually. We ask that any guests who have requested special meals make themselves known to our staff at the beginning of your event so we can ensure they receive the correct food.

When collating your guests’ dietary requirements, we suggest asking for any major allergies or dietary restrictions in order to limit voluntary dietary preferences.

How do I know my guests won’t go hungry?

This is possibly the number one concern from customers when booking a caterer; and we of course share that concern! In over eight years, it hasn’t been an issue at our functions. Our portion sizes are generous and, when our food is served over our recommended time-frames, you can be assured the quantities are sufficient to satisfy even the hardiest of appetites.

For cocktail functions, the canapes on your menu are rotated throughout the service period to ensure everyone is offered each different variety numerous times, and our staff are proficient in navigating the service space to make sure the food reaches all of your guests.

Do you provide drinks service?

Absolutely! Drinks service staff are an optional add on and are charged at $50 per wait-person per hour (minimum of 3 hours). Our drinks staff can be hired for the service of beer, wine, champagne, softdrink, juice, and water. If you’d like specialised cocktail beverages at your function, we can put you in touch with industry specialists!

We can assist with the recommended number of staff for your function depending on the style of service you’re looking for, and your final guest count.

Our drinks service staff have a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.

What if my venue doesn’t have a kitchen?

Not a problem! We have worked in all manner of spaces and can include the set up of a satellite kitchen in your quote. A standard satellite kitchen costs $250, and if a marquee is required as well, the cost is $500.

We do require access to running water and electricity, but can talk through these requirements with you or arrange a site visit to inspect the facilities.

Do you have a children’s menu?

We sure do! Our children’s menu is recommended for young people up to the age of 12. Click the button below to view the menu.

Can you cater for my suppliers (photographer, DJ, stylist etc)?

Yes, we can. Rather than including your vendors as full paying guests, we can provide them with a main sized portion of one of your chosen dishes for $30 per vendor.

How do I book?

The booking process is simple! First, enquire with us to ensure our availability for your chosen date. Then simply let us know you’d like to go ahead and we’ll send through our confirmation email, along with our specialised planning forms, and your deposit invoice.

From there, we’ll be in touch at key points in the lead up to your booking to ensure we have the information required to make your event a raging success! Final menu choices, dietary requirements, and guest count are due two weeks prior to your event date.
