Dealing with the loss of a loved one is difficult enough, and the logistics of arranging a funeral and wake can often be overwhelming. With this is mind, we have developed a choice of simplified menus so the difficult decisions have been made for you. Simply choose from our staffed or unstaffed ambient menu, or our chef’s choice canape menu.

Both menus provide a selection of our most popular finger food items that include both vegetarian and gluten free items. We have ensured the menus are also nut free, which covers the major dietary requirements you may be catering for but don’t have the time to collate. The banquet-style service is simple and minimal, keeping equipment hire, staffing, and interruption to your guests to a minimum.

Ambient Menu             Minimum 30 guests, $25pp if no wait-staff required

Our Ambient Menu comprises dishes that are all suitable for service at room temperature. This menu is designed to be presented buffet-style on a table or trestles for guests to help themselves to. We can assist with trestle and linen hire if required. Disposable crockery and napkins are included in the price.

Unstaffed: Your food will be delivered on disposable black foam trays with clear plastic lids. The foam trays are suitable for presentation, or if preferred, you can transfer the items to your own presentation platters.

Staffed: Your food will be delivered on non-disposable presentation platters, and your wait-person will assist with the transfer of the platters to your food station and ensure the food service area is kept neat and tidy. Your wait-person will be available for a period of 2 hours, including set-up. If there is any remaining food after the service period, it will be transferred to disposable platters, and left for guests to continue to graze on.  Please note a food release form will need to be signed in order for us to leave any leftover food onsite.

Each guest will receive one piece of each of the following items:

CANAPES

rare roasted black angus beef, asparagus & watercress, horseradish crème fraiche (gf)

poached chicken and cucumber rice paper roll, hot sour dressing (gf)

smoked salmon, potato aioli, lavosh

FINGER SANDWICHES

(gluten free bread available on request)

ham, cheddar, spinach, tomato, seeded mustard mayo

roast pumpkin, fetta, rocket, onion jam, mayo (v)

cheddar, tomato, spinach, tomato relish, mayo (v)

SWEETS

lemon curd and meringue tart, white chocolate (v)

soft set chocolate tart, salted caramel, dried raspberries (v)

Chef’s Choice Menu                 Minimum 30 guests, $40pp

Chef & Wait-person (for up to 1.5 hours)

Our Chef’s Choice Menu provides guests with a selection of our most popular ambient, warm, and sweet canapes. This menu is designed to be presented buffet-style on a table or trestles for guests to help themselves to. We can assist with trestle and linen hire if required.

A chef will be on-site to ensure the food is heated through and beautifully presented, and your wait-person will assist guests and keep the food service area neat and tidy. Your chef and wait-person will be available for a period of 2 hours, including set-up. If there is any remaining food after the service period, it will be transferred to disposable platters, and left for guests to continue to graze on.  Please note a food release form will need to be signed in order for us to leave any leftover food onsite.

Disposable crockery and napkins are included in the price, as well as the provision of a portable oven if required.
